GET BENT WASN'T INVENTED YESTERDAY.
GET BENT began as the tagline for Local Hooker Rods, founded by Bob Jenkins on Cape Cod. Local Hooker built premium, custom fishing rods in the USA and grew from a small operation in Chatham to dealers along the East Coast.
The rods earned a following among serious recreational anglers, charter captains and tournament fishermen. In 2011, the Wet Dream Fishing Team took Local Hooker Rods to Cabo San Lucas and won the IGFA Offshore World Championship.
The rods are history.
