GET BENT® was the tag-line for LOCAL HOOKER RODS® started by Bob Jenkins in Chatham, MASS in 2005.
LOCAL HOOKER RODS® was a line of MADE-IN-USA, hand-crafted fishing rods that the WET DREAM FISHING TEAM won the most prestigious off-shore fishing tournament in the world: IGFA OFF-SHORE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP using LOCAL HOOKER RODS in May of 2011!
The WET DREAM FISHING TEAM TAUGHT THE WORLD HOW TO GET BENT® WITH A BOATFULL OF LOCAL HOOKERS…
GET BENT® is all about attitude and catching fish, any fish! It’s the exhilaration and fight between you and the fish as you GET BENT®.
Fishing is the world’s oldest profession and fishermen are known as “HOOKERS”, not to be confused with… well you know! So to GET BENT® with a Local Hooker is very natural and can be educational and life-sustaining for the entire family!
Fishing is a hobby to some and a lifestyle to many; meaning it is a way-of-life to many! If you don’t fish, you can’t understand… But to the 60+ Million men, women and children who do fish each year in the USA alone, they GET BENT® and get it…!
